It's been a while since I have been here. This was my favorite place for lobster bisque. I wasn't impressed this time. I remember it creamer. Now the salmon was a hit with my dad. He ate it all and he really enjoyed the broccoli side. The lady brought out a wrong side but they quickly fixed the issue. I would come back, if only for salmon. The inside has changed but it was still pretty full for a weekday afternoon.
The only place where can order the fried whole belly clams they were very good the haddock was tasteless the steamers were good my wife ate try them all
I thought legal seafoods had closed down, but I guess I was wrong and I'm glad. We came here without a reservation and sat at the bar for lunch. It definitely looks nautical and slightly upscale in here. Service was friendly and fast. We got scallops and the tuna nacho appetizer as well as clam chowder. I was shocked by how many scallops came out for this price, and they were cooked well! The mushrooms we chose as a side were also pretty good, though salty. The tuna nachos were also not bad, and the clam chowder is still the same classic creamy staple I remember it to be. Would definitely come back when I'm craving seafood.
BEST FISH SANDWICH EVER. & the fresh tartar sauce was BOMB. Pricey but I can't wait to go back. Parking was terrible bc it's just mall parking but it's not terrible. Will definitely be back!
Love love love their seafood. Always fresh, tasty, generously portioned & great ambiance. Whether the lobster roll, the Thai calamari, the crab cake or the fries, you can't go wrong!
We had a very solid late lunch here yesterday. I had never been to Legal Sea Food and it definitely scratched the itch. We were killing time at the mall before heading to the airport (as one does when in NJ!) and when we saw that they had $2 happy hour oysters from 3-6 PM, we went right in! Staff was attentive and professional! Our excellent server mentioned that it was Lobster Appreciation Day so they were running a special - 1/2 lobster roll (cold with mayo or hot with butter), lobster bisque, fries and slaw. We got right on that along with a dozen oysters. Larry picked 4 different types and thought they were very high quality. The lobster roll (hot with butter) was absolutely packed with tender lobster, and the bisque was deliciously rich and satisfying. Considering this is a restaurant inside of a mall (albeit, a very upscale mall), they did a great job not making it feel like you were in a mall in NJ!
